☀️ Lifesaving Relief: Cooling the Roadways at 48°C!

When the mercury shattered records and hit a grueling 48°C across Pakistan, stepping outside became a hazard. But for thousands of daily wage workers, travelers, and bus passengers, staying indoors wasn't an option.

To Battle this extreme heatwave, the Children's Smile Foundation quickly launched emergency roadside water Canes. We placed cold water canes along busy major roads and traffic junctions to provide instant relief to those who needed it most.

💧 The Impact at a Glance

Critical Hydration: Thousands of travelers, rickshaw drivers, motorcycle riders, and street vendors quenched their thirst daily.
A Moment of Rest: Beyond just water, these Canes gave tired workers a shaded moment to catch their breath and lower their body temperatures.

At 48°C, a glass of cold water isn't just a comfort—it's a shield against the deadly sun. Seeing a traveler rest by our water station and resume their journey safely is our greatest victory.

🕊️ Saving the Silent Sufferers: Food & Water for Birds at 48°C

While the extreme 48°C heatwave in Pakistan has tested everyone, our skies' most vulnerable inhabitants often suffer in silence. With natural ponds evaporated and the ground scorching hot, thousands of birds' risk dying of severe dehydration and heat exhaustion.

To protect these innocent lives, the Children's Smile Foundation launched a dedicated wildlife relief campaign. Our teams and volunteers have successfully set up roadside stations with cold water pots and nutritious bird feed (grain mixtures) across key tree-lined roads, parks, and neighborhood junctions.

Flood Crisis 2025: Rising Waters Leave Millions Affected

Pakistan is facing one of its most severe flood crises in decades. Millions have been displaced, farmlands destroyed, and communities are struggling for survival.

🆘 Flood Relief Donation 2025: Every contribution is valuable

Since late June 2025, Pakistan has been hit by one of the most devastating flood seasons in decades. Torrential monsoon rains, accelerated glacier melt, and upstream river releases have combined to create a nationwide disaster.

More than 800–900 lives lost, including hundreds of children. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab remain the worst-hit, with districts like Buner reporting over 150 deaths alone. Thousands more are injured or missing.

The floods have displaced over 1 million people in Punjab, while another 250,000 people have been forced to flee in eastern Punjab. Nationwide, more than 210,000 people are displaced, with evacuation operations ongoing.
More than 1,400 villages inundated, particularly in Punjab’s farming belt, submerging crops and livestock. In Lahore and other cities, tens of thousands were evacuated due to urban flooding.

Damage to Homes & Infrastructure: Over 4,000 homes destroyed or damaged. Key infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and even religious sites like Kartarpur Sahib, has been damaged. Relief and medical camps are stretched thin, with hundreds of camps set up to accommodate the displaced.

Experts point to 15% above-average rainfall, rapid glacier melt, poor urban planning, and cross-border river surges as the main drivers. Climate change has magnified the frequency and intensity of floods, leaving communities vulnerable year after year.

The idea of the Children's Smile Foundation is to reach and provide help to poor children especially those who live in backward and poor areas, where there is no influence of government or other organizations
Children's smile foundation meets this need by providing them with loving care, security, higher education and job-training. this allows them to live normal lives, and a sense of confidence is instilled in them that develops their full potential.
Cause of current situation of Pakistan's economy where people are fighting with poverty and crisis, which is directly and indirectly effecting on children, cause of poverty parents cannot afford education expenses, which badly ruin children's present and future life. So, in this situation Children's Smile Foundation provide them helping hand, we help them with their basic needs such as clothes, shoes, food, educational stuff and majorly a good education system to develop their mind according to their passions and abilities, raise their specialties. So, with this many of them could be future doctor, lawyers, aviators, teachers, police officers and politicians and can live their normal life. Who can serve for their families and nation. So, as we teach them to help, surely, they will also help more poor children! This way we can make change!
One of the biggest mission of Children's Smile Foundation is to build a school in backward and poor areas where children can get free education. because in poverty children's parents can't afford their education expenses, so children get deprived of education
